These Terms of Use govern access to and use of HireLeader, including our websites, recruiting platform, candidate application experiences, artificial intelligence features, and related services. By accessing or using HireLeader, you agree to these Terms.
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, accessing HireLeader, submitting an application through HireLeader, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you use HireLeader on behalf of a company, recruiting firm, staffing organization, employer, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use HireLeader.
2. The HireLeader service
HireLeader provides software and technology designed to support recruiting and hiring activities.
Depending on the features available to your account, HireLeader may provide tools for:
- Creating and managing job openings
- Receiving and organizing job applications
- Managing candidate profiles
- Tracking recruiting pipelines and hiring stages
- Scheduling and managing interviews
- Recording recruiter and interviewer feedback
- Evaluating candidate qualifications
- Managing offers and placements
- Creating recruiting tasks and workflows
- Generating reports and recruiting insights
- Using AI-assisted recruiting tools
Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as HireLeader develops.
3. Eligibility
You may use HireLeader only if you are legally capable of entering into these Terms and are permitted to use the service under applicable law.
If you are accessing HireLeader as part of an employment application, you must provide information that you are legally permitted to provide as part of that recruiting process.
HireLeader is intended for legitimate professional recruiting, employment, staffing, and hiring activities.
4. Accounts and security
Certain HireLeader features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.
You may not:
- Share credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Attempt to access another user's account without permission
- Circumvent account permissions or security controls
- Create accounts for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
You should promptly notify HireLeader if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.
5. Organizations, recruiters, and hiring teams
Organizations using HireLeader are responsible for their own recruiting and employment practices.
If you use HireLeader as an employer, recruiter, staffing organization, hiring manager, interviewer, administrator, or other business user, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with applicable laws and your organization's policies.
This includes responsibility for:
- Obtaining candidate information lawfully
- Maintaining appropriate permissions to process candidate data
- Providing required notices to candidates
- Maintaining appropriate data retention practices
- Making lawful and nondiscriminatory employment decisions
- Protecting confidential candidate information
- Managing user access within your organization
- Reviewing information produced by automated or AI-assisted tools
HireLeader provides recruiting technology. HireLeader does not act as the employer and does not make employment decisions on behalf of organizations using the platform.
6. Candidates and applications
Candidates may use HireLeader to view opportunities, create candidate profiles, submit applications, upload resumes, provide professional information, and track recruiting activity where those features are available.
When you submit an application through HireLeader, the information you provide may be made available to the employer, recruiter, staffing organization, or hiring team responsible for that opportunity.
Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview, offer, employment, response, or any other recruiting outcome.
The organization responsible for the position determines its own hiring requirements and employment decisions.
7. Your content and data
You retain responsibility for information, files, documents, resumes, notes, job descriptions, candidate records, messages, feedback, and other content that you submit to HireLeader.
By submitting content, you authorize HireLeader to host, store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise use that content as necessary to provide and operate the service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit and process information through HireLeader.
You may not submit content that:
- Violates applicable law
- Infringes another person's rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Was obtained unlawfully
- Is intentionally fraudulent or misleading
- Violates applicable privacy or employment requirements
8. AI and automated features
HireLeader may provide artificial intelligence, machine learning, scoring, recommendation, summarization, or other automated features to assist users with recruiting activities.
These features may assist with tasks such as:
- Summarizing resumes and candidate information
- Identifying candidate skills or experience
- Comparing candidate information with job requirements
- Preparing interview questions
- Summarizing interview notes
- Generating recruiting communications
- Identifying workflow priorities
- Providing recruiting insights
AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate conclusions. Automated output should not be treated as verified fact or as a substitute for professional judgment.
Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated information before relying on it.
Hiring, interviewing, advancement, rejection, compensation, and other employment decisions should involve appropriate human review. HireLeader's AI features are intended to assist users, not independently make employment decisions.
9. Acceptable use
You agree to use HireLeader only for legitimate and lawful purposes.
You may not use the service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Discriminate unlawfully in recruiting or employment
- Harass, threaten, or abuse another person
- Obtain or use personal information unlawfully
- Send spam or unauthorized communications
- Upload malicious software or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interfere with the operation or security of HireLeader
- Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities without authorization
- Scrape or extract platform data through unauthorized automated means
- Reverse engineer or attempt to derive protected portions of the service except where prohibited by law
- Use HireLeader to create or distribute fraudulent job opportunities
- Misrepresent your identity or relationship with an employer or candidate
- Use another organization's candidate information without authorization
We may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable steps to protect users, candidates, organizations, and the service.
10. Employment decisions
HireLeader is a technology platform and is not an employer, employment agency, hiring manager, or decision maker unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular service.
Employers and recruiting organizations are solely responsible for decisions involving:
- Candidate selection
- Interview decisions
- Candidate rejection
- Offers of employment
- Compensation
- Background screening
- Employment eligibility
- Hiring and termination
- Compliance with employment law
HireLeader does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by candidates, recruiters, employers, or other users.
11. Third-party services
HireLeader may connect with or rely on third-party services, including hosting providers, email providers, calendar services, authentication services, artificial intelligence providers, analytics systems, file storage services, and recruiting integrations.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
HireLeader is not responsible for the availability, security, content, or practices of third-party services that are outside our control.
12. HireLeader intellectual property
HireLeader and its associated software, interfaces, designs, branding, logos, technology, documentation, workflows, and other proprietary materials are owned by HireLeader or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of HireLeader's intellectual property to you.
Subject to these Terms, HireLeader grants authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for its intended purpose.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit protected portions of HireLeader except as expressly permitted by us or applicable law.
13. Service availability and changes
We work to maintain reliable access to HireLeader, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error free.
Access may occasionally be limited because of maintenance, upgrades, security events, provider outages, technical problems, or circumstances outside our control.
We may update, modify, discontinue, or introduce features as the service develops.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using HireLeader at any time.
HireLeader may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary, including where:
- These Terms are violated
- Use of the service creates a security risk
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity is suspected
- Use may harm HireLeader, candidates, customers, or third parties
- Required by law or valid legal process
- An organization's agreement with HireLeader ends
Certain provisions of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination will remain applicable after access to the service ends.
15. Disclaimers
HireLeader is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
HireLeader does not guarantee that:
- The service will always be uninterrupted or error free
- Candidate information will always be accurate or complete
- AI-generated information will always be accurate
- A particular candidate will be suitable for a position
- A candidate will receive an interview or employment offer
- An employer will successfully fill a position
- A particular recruiting outcome will occur
Users remain responsible for independently evaluating candidates, jobs, organizations, recruiting information, and employment decisions.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HireLeader and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of the service.
This includes, where permitted by law, loss of profits, business opportunities, data, goodwill, recruiting opportunities, or employment opportunities.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, organizations and business users agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from their unlawful use of HireLeader, violation of these Terms, violation of another person's rights, or unlawful recruiting and employment practices.
This provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to HireLeader, our business practices, legal requirements, or the services we provide.
When these Terms are updated, the revised version will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date will be changed.
Where required or appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
Continued use of HireLeader after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
